Meet the Match: Caroline Herman and Jennifer

Meet Jennifer, a freshman at Marion High School, and mentor Caroline Herman who meet each week in Project Leadership’s mentoring program, which matches community volunteers with local Twenty-first Century Scholar students.

Jennifer
Career goals: Veterinarian.
Favorite subject: English.
Favorite book: I’ll read anything, but I love books about mythical creatures. Hobbies/Interests: Reading, writing, playing the violin and guitar, singing, playing with my cats, going on walks by the river.
Family: Mother, Lisa; father, Chuck; brother, C.J.; sister, Alexis.
School: Marion High School.

Caroline Herman
Career: Registered nurse since 1994, currently work at the VA.
Favorite subjects in high school: Art and science
Favorite book: Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson.
Hobbies/interests: Love to travel, helping out my daughters; school, secretary Riverview PTO; Tri Kappa Sorority; Project Leadership; Mary Kay; Brownie Troop Leader.
Family: Husband, Tony Carreon; daughter, Gabrielle (Gabbie).
School: Bennett High School; Indiana State University.
