Meet the Match: Linda Lowe and Kileigh

Meet Kileigh, a freshman at Oak Hill High School, and mentor Linda Lowe who participate in Project Leadership’s mentoring program, which matches community volunteers with local Twenty-first Century Scholar students.

Kileigh
Career goals: Pediatrician.
Favorite subject: Algebra and Biology. Favorite book: Even Now.
Hobbies/Interests: Cross country, track, 4-H, and scrapbooking.
Family: Mom, Melissa; dad, Adam; two brothers, Cody and Keagan; and sister, Addyson.

Linda Lowe
Career: Positive youth worker.

Hobbies/interests: Crafts, reading, basket weaving, spending time with my husband.

Hobbies/Interests: Video games, reading, golf, swimming, girls.

Tammy Pearson
Career goals: To be meaningful in my work and help youths understand the importance of pursuing education after high school.

Favorite book: The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. It’s a powerful message delivered with few words for readers of all ages.
